Tray Forming and Carton Forming Machines

Trayfecta® Series Carton Forming Machines derive their name from an ability to produce all of the most common package formats for end-of-line systems: corrugate and paperboard cartons and corrugate trays.

The Trayfecta product family encompasses machine models that utilize two different approaches to automated tray and carton forming: Trayfecta M series mechanical formers, and Trayfecta S series machines with advanced servomotor drive control of  critical machine motions.

Both models offer the versatility and reliability for which the Delkor brand is well known and respected. Trayfecta Models also boost productivity by virtue of their tool-less changeover capability and their use of flexible Rockwell Automation controls.

  • Trayfecta M series
Trafecta M series Tray and Carton Former

The Trayfecta M series Carton Forming Machine continues Delkor’s long tradition of highly reliable and robust mechanical tray formers. This flexible machine is capable of forming cartons which require either mechanical locking tabs or glued flaps. The product family offers configurations that provide up to four forming heads and cavities. Selected models can achieve a maximum output of 225 formed cartons per minute.

  • Forms adhesive, locking, and fold-over (foot lock) style trays and cartons
  • Available with 1 to 4 forming heads
  • Fully counterbalanced mechanical linkage drive

The new Trayfecta S series Tray and Carton Forming Machine uses advanced servomotor drive control for all critical machine motions, allowing the unit to operate at approximately 10% - 15% higher throughput speeds and with greater efficiencies than mechanical-drive systems.

  • Forms adhesive, locking, and fold-over (foot lock) style trays and cartons
  • Available with 1 to 4 forming heads
  • Servo drive for blank picking, shuttling, and forming motions
  • Ergonomic magazine height for safer easier material replenishment
