John Soules Foods, manufacturer of fully cooked frozen entrees and longtime Delkor customer, was one of the first to install a Delkor Compact Packaging Line with the newly released EVO Case Packer. Their current configuration includes a two-cell EVO, which allows the line to reach speeds up to 120 products per minute. Should their needs change, EVO's modular design can easily accommodate up to four cells to reach speeds up to 240 products per minute.
Nick Beasley, RTE Supervisor, shares, "I was very surprised to hear the speeds up to 120/minute. When I first saw it doing 120/minute, it looked like it wasn't even hardly doing anything."
According to Cardin, not only has EVO been the "perfect match for us with increased productivity, labor reduction, safety and ergonomics ... the footprint is quite a bit smaller than what we're used to. We were extremely surprised to see that it could increase productivity and it certainly did."
